As Leadpartner of the “Network for Innovation in Culture and Creativity in Europe” (N.I.C.E.), the european centre for creative economy (ecce) will bestow the N.I.C.E. Award at the Forum d´Avignon Ruhr 2014 in June.

This initiative will reward projects, researches and strategies of the cultural and creative economies that effect society in an innovative way (so called spillover).

On this occasion, a jury of 5 experts will establish a “best of” short list of 10 projects, and the applicants will be invited to present their project in an exhibition starting on the evening before the Forum d’Avignon Ruhr.

The N.I.C.E. Award, funded by the Ministry of Family, Children, Youth, Culture and Sports of the State North Rhine-Westphalia, will finally go to the most innovative project and Garrelt Duin, Minister of Economics of North-Rhine-Westphalia, will announce the winner of the award on June 12th during the Forum d’Avignon Ruhr 2014.

Don’t miss the chance to apply!

The winners will receive prizes worth 5.000 Euros, a presentation in the N.I.C.E. exhibition and a participation and presentation at the Forum d’Avignon Ruhr 2014.

Artists and cultural creative entrepreneurs, scientists and universities and towns or regions as well as interdisciplinary teams from the EU (member countries and candidate countries) can submit their application under the slogan “Spillover Innovations” via email to nice@e-c-c-e.com until April 15th 2014.
